Our CEO
Sharad Rai
Rai Sharad holds a Master’s degree from the University of Tokyo and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same institution. He began his professional career at SoftBank Corporation.
Born in a remote village near Mt. Everest, Rai received a government scholarship at the age of 10, a transformative opportunity that shaped his future. Inspired to give back to his community, he established two schools in his hometown, which now educate over 1,000 children.
Driven by a vision to contribute 1% to Nepal’s future GDP, he founded TAI Inc., aiming to develop a thriving IT industry in the landlocked nation. Additionally, he is preparing to launch YouMiT (YouMe Institute of Technology), an AI-driven tech college designed to nurture Nepal’s next generation of world-class engineers and innovators.
